IBC 2025: LucidLink Unveils Transformative New Product Innovations, Expands Collaboration with AWS and Celebrates Emmy Win
With new product developments
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on September 10, 2025 at 2:01 pmLucidLink Corp., the storage collaboration platform for creative and enterprise teams – and newly named a recipient of an Engineering, Science & Technology Emmy Award by the Television Academy – will unveil a series of transformative new product innovations for the first time at IBC 2025.These latest developments extend the LucidLink experience to every creative and everyone connected to the workflow. Alongside these announcements, the company will feature in the IBC Showcase Theatre with partner Moments Lab and host a series of networking and community-focused activities in its new location: Hall 6, Stand A12.
The free Showcase Theatre session, “From Capture to Cut: Real-Time Workflows Powered by AI and the Cloud,” takes place on Saturday, 13 September from 16:00 to 16:20 in Hall 8. This session brings together two technology leaders for a meeting of minds: Richard Yu, CPO, LucidLink, and Fred Petitpont, CTO, Moments Lab. Together, they will demonstrate how Brut Media delivered its Cannes Film Festival coverage using AI tagging, cloud indexing, and direct editing in Premiere Pro, all powered by LucidLink and Moments Lab, without downloads or manual transfers.
The Brut Media Cannes case study is a powerful proof point, showing how creative teams can not only look back at major cultural moments but also build forward-looking workflows that reimagine how content is captured, produced, and shared in real time.
Alongside its own presence in Hall 6, LucidLink will also be part of the AWS stand in Hall 5 Stand C90, within the Content Production. Here, LucidLink will demonstrate its collaboration with AWS Deadline Cloud, a fully managed service that streamlines the setup, scaling and management of render farms.
Building on its Emmy Award-winning platform, LucidLink’s integration with AWS Deadline Cloud allows creative teams to connect workflows from ingest through rendering without delays caused by downloads, syncing or complex infrastructure. LucidLink provides instant access to data across distributed teams, while AWS Deadline Cloud provisions and scales compute resources on demand.
The result is faster creative iterations, more efficient use of resources and greater flexibility in the cloud. Visitors to the AWS stand will see how LucidLink and AWS Deadline Cloud together enable smooth end-to-end pipelines that help studios deliver content more effectively. “At IBC this year, we’re thrilled to unveil a new gen of products and functionality. These are the same innovations that helped earn LucidLink an Engineering Emmy Award, and they are designed to bring the LucidLink experience to every creative professional. Our new collaboration with AWS Deadline Cloud further reinforces this vision, giving studios a faster and more flexible way to produce content in the cloud. We invite attendees to see our technology firsthand by joining our Showcase Theatre session with Moments Lab, visiting our new stand in Hall 6, or finding us at the AWS stand in Hall 5,” said Peter Thompson, co-founder and CEO, LucidLink.
Networking & Community at Hall 6, Stand A12
Building on the success of the LucidLink-Up event series, which launched in London earlier this year to foster genuine connections within the creative community, LucidLink will host daily networking sessions designed to give IBC visitors direct access to product experts and industry peers. These include:
- Power Hours: Relaxed morning meet-ups free coffee and croissants on Friday 12 September from 10:30 to 11:30, and Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September from 9:30 to 10:30
- Happy Hours: Drinks and conversations on Friday, 12 and Saturday, 13 September from 17:00 to 18:00
Both sessions are designed as opportunities to connect with editors, creatives, post-production leads, and technical teams, continuing LucidLink’s commitment to supporting collaboration and community across the M&E industry.
LucidLink supports over 100,000 users across 4,000 organizations, including Paramount, USA Today, and Brut, with more than 70 petabytes of media managed globally.
