Jerome Drexler retired from his position as chairman of LaserCard.
The man is a legend in laser recording and optical storage, holding 76 U.S. patents.
He will now be devoting more time to writing a sequel to his book, “How dark matter created dark energy and the sun” – an astrophysics detective story, published 2 years ago.
The company now has a new corporate management structure. Richard Haddock and Christopher Dyball were co-CEOs since 2003, when Drexler left the post he occupied alone. Haddock will now serve as sole CEO, while Dyball assumes the jobs of president and COO. Concurrently, Stephen PriceFrancis was named VP of business development.
