History 2001: Vic Mahadevan President and CEO, MaXXan Systems
Previously VP and GM of enterprise storage division at Compaq

Vic Mahadevan returns to the storage industry as president and CEO of MaXXan Systems, a start-up developing network technologies for enterprise storage applications.
He replaces Lih-Sheng Chiou, a co-founder who will stay on as chairman and VP engineering.
Mahadevan was previously VP and GM of the enterprise storage division at Compaq, then BMC Software before co-founding iVita, an enterprise asset management software company.
Note: He is currenty CEO of Buurst, a data performance company, and CEO of Dev Solutions Inc. Before that, he was chief strategy officer at NetApp from 2010 to 2012 after working at LSI Corp., an Avago Technologies company, as VP of marketing and business line and then VP marketing and product line from 2009 to 2010.
