Direct-attached RAID or NSA with scale-up expansion
These NVMe solutions are a hardware RAID in either embedded RAID storage or NAS shared storage, providing a true RAID-5/6/50/60 hardware RAID solutions that provide the performance for transfer speed, and also hardware RAID protection that not available in JBOF solutions or software RAID solutions.

  • Choose interface – PCIe 4.0 Direct Attached RAID solutions or NAS solutions

  • All flash NVMe – NVMe only, no spinning disk for performance

  • 16 (8+8) in 2U form factor – 8×2.5” U.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, support 7mm thick only (top 2 layers) + 8×2.5” U.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe, support both 15mm and 7mm thick (bottom 2 layers). M.2 NVMe can be supported by using M.2-to-U.2 adapter

  • Hardware RAID – Dedicated RAID XOR engine, 8G DDR4-ECC memory, SuperCap cache protection

  • RAID protection with hot-spare – Support in RAID-0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60

NVMe hardware RAID application

  • 8K video capturing and editing applications – 8K video requires more storage capacity and faster throughput. NVMe DAS RAID meets the challenge brought by 8K video demands. MacPro with a vacant PCIe slot provide the performance and RAID protection solutions
  • AI and ML – the large size, fast, cost-effective, protected and reliable NVMe storage decoupled from the computing Nodes, so that the computing Nodes can focus on the real truly problem solving computational jobs.
  • NVMe-Caching or NVMe-Tier – Add an additional NVMe caching layer for high performance caching or NVMe-Tier for online hot data layer, can improve overall performance. Any computer systems require fast, cost-effective all flash solutions!
