H3C Wins $18 Million Bid With China Mobile’s New Storage Systems

Ltd. was granted a 20% share in the bid for China Mobile Limited‘s 2021-2022 centralized procurement of distributed block storage products for its new storage systems, winning a contract worth 115 million yuan (about $17.84 million) for the supply of relevant products.
The bid marks vendor’s winning a bid for such a tender project with China Mobile for the first time and is expected to further expand the application scenarios of its storage products in the communications industry.
H3C has previously won nearly 100 million yuan worth of contracts for the supply of distributed file storage products to China Mobile in 2019. Last year, the digital solutions provider won the bid for China Mobile’s centralized procurement of distributed block storage products for its network cloud resource pool phase project and was granted a share of 30%, the second largest share, in the carrier’s centralized procurement of distributed file storage products.

Regarding this recent bid as an important opportunity, the company will continue deepening its cooperation with China Mobile and lay a solid foundation for the storage systems of future 5G networks.
