History (1997): nStor Purchased Parity Systems for $8 Million

nStor Technologies, Inc., formerly Conner Storage Systems, supplier of RAID subsystems, has purchased Parity Systems, a privately-owned integrator of storage management solutions, digital media management and client/server systems for RISC-based and Windows NT environments.

Note: In July 2005 Xyratex and nStor announced that they have signed a definitive merger agreement providing for Xyratex to acquire all of the outstanding shares of nStor in a transaction valued at approximately $21.2 million.
