Datto Expands in Irvine, CA
To support IT channel for SMBs

The event was attended by Tim Weller, CEO of Datto and Julia Jech and Stephanie Martinez, council executive assistants to mayor Christina L. Shea of the city of Irvine. Also in attendance were more than 65 Datto customers, who are MSPs that serve the IT needs of hundreds of SMBs in the state and region. The expanded California office location will accommodate double the capacity of the previous space.
The Datto’s US presence has grown exponentially since its inception in 2007 with more than 1,700 employees across nine countries. The company currently serves more than a million SMBs through partnerships with more than 16,000 MSPs.
“As small businesses recognize the importance of managing their IT infrastructure, including fighting cybersecurity threats like ransomware, MSPs see increased opportunities to serve the SMB community,” said Tim Weller, CEO, Datto. “Datto is excited to be expanding our Irvine office to serve more West Coast MSP partners.“

Datto’s Irvine office is located at 400 Spectrum Center Drive overlooking the Santa Ana. The firm makes its new home in the building alongside other technology companies, including Microsoft, Cisco Systems, and Salesforce.
