Martin Gibbons EMEA Head of Channel, Cohesity

Cohesity, Inc. announced Martin Gibbons has joined the company as head of channel in EMEA.

He will develop the go-to-market strategy in EMEA. He will also focus on rapidly developing the company’s ecosystem of partners while accelerating growth and share of the EMEA data management market.

Based in Hampshire, England, he brings more than 20 years of channel experience in IT and data management. Aligning to Cohesity’s global strategy, he will work in tandem with worldwide teams to help partners maximize benefits from recently expanded partner program. The program is focused on helping partners increase profitability while offering greater value to customers who are looking for backup and data management solutions across the region.

he joins from Commvault where he was distribution channel director, EMEA, for 5 years. He also held other channel-focused roles with the vendor, including running the company’s UK program management. Prior to this, he worked at Computer Associates, and his initial foray into IT sales was with the distributor Computer 2000, a former subsidiary of Frontline, and then with Surrey-based Unix and network equipment distributor, Ilion Group.
