From Cayin, CMS Station for Managing Digital Signage Network Via Qnap NAS

By integrating Digital Signage Content Management Server (CMS) into Qnap NAS as a whole new service – CMS Station, users can benefit from the smart signage solution for managing up to 4,000 Cayin SMP players simultaneously, grouping management to synchronize the playlists and contents, and scheduling based on once, daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly timescales.

CMS Station, using Linux LXC technology as the backend, demonstrates its flexibility and adaptability to integrate the firm’s digital signage server software into Qnap NAS products. Within a few clicks, the installation is done, accelerating the deployment of a digital signage network and facilitating management solutions in a secure environment.

CMS Station can be installed directly on the NAS from App Center. This solution improves the deployment and management  for building a large scale digital signage network. The digital signage configurations, data and contents can be secure under the protection of NAS RAID. Moreover, CMS Station supports redundancy mechanism to provide seamless failover and non-stop quality services.

Users who have heavy demands on real-time audio and video applications can also integrate those applications into a single platform. It becomes a service-oriented platform to enhance server utilization, backup effectively and management efficiency. System integrators can either build up a SaaS environment for large-scale digital signage projects or set up as an on-premise service for a specific application with flexible licensing. The licensing mechanism allows users to acquire CMS Station by annual subscription or perpetual license to meet dynamic business needs.
