Jimmie Adkins VP of Federal Sales, Hitachi Vantara

Hitachi Vantara Federal, in data-driven solutions and services for the Federal Government, announced that Jimmie Adkins has joined the company as VP sales.

In this role, he will empower customers by advising their data modernization initiatives – ensuring increased preparedness for the rigor demanded of 21st century information practices.

“Adkin’s longstanding involvement in the federal IT, networking, and IoT spaces has culminated in a unique understanding of our customers’ needs, both present and future,” said Dave Turner, president and CEO. “His rich technical background, combined with over 30 years working directly with our end-users, will certainly contribute to success in supporting the critical missions of the Federal Government.”

Prior to joining Hitachi Vantara Federal, he was the VP of Ruckus Federal at CommScope, where he utilized his networking background to support IoT and data infrastructure modernization initiatives of the Federal Government.

Before CommScope, he held several sales management roles at Brocade, Foundry, and Subsidium.

Outside of the office, he currently serves as SVP of AFCEA-DC Chapter and has served on the board of directors at AFCEA International.
