DB2 Warehouse on Cloud offers the capability to retain a virtually unlimited number of database backups, enabling custom backup retention periods.

Db2 Warehouse Ibm Cloud

Available to clients with plans that are hosted on IBM Cloud, the additional backup and restore capacity for Db2 Warehouse on cloud enables clients to retain as many database backups as needed and accommodate sensitive data retention requirements.

Databases that are hosted on IBM Cloud can be restored from any of these database backup files in the event of an emergency.

This capability is offered in all IBM Cloud regions where elastic Flex, Flex One, and Flex Performance plans for Db2 Warehouse on Cloud are available.

Planned availability date: May 28, 2019
