Asustor in Partnership With Roon Labs

Asustor Inc. is partnering with Roon Labs, LLC to launch Roon Server on App Central, providing a high quality music streaming and storage solution.

The two companies are also offering a 30-day free trial to anyone who installs Roon Server and completes registration.

Roon Server is a player for audio enthusiasts, mainly because it connects to various music streaming servers and playback devices. It features an UI and supports lossless music formats for music streaming enjoyability. Combining an Asustor NAS with Roon Server creates a high speed and high capacity music server that manages all audio files on a NAS in a convenient way.

Dipin Sehdev, VP marketing, Roon Labs said: “We are happy to be working with Asustor to offer best in class music streaming and playback on Asustor devices. Stream your music along with music from Tidal and Qobuz to over 350 devices.“

An array of Asustor NAS devices featuring 64-bit Intel processors support Roon Server. Currently it supports the AS31, 32, 50, 51, 61, 62, 63, 64, 70 and Nimbustor series. All models supported contain an HDMI port, enabling playback functionality in Roon Control, allowing for a quality music center.
