13 Consecutive Quarters of Increased Revenue for Backup Everything

Despite a challenging 1Q19 in light of market conditions, Backup Everything Ltd announces 13 consecutive quarters of increased revenue with customer acquisitions in all markets.

It continues to rank as the Number 1 Cloud Backup provider in the UK by Backup Review and 4th best provider globally.

Across it’s solutions, it has now achieved a data volume of just over 500TB stored in its data centre locations of UK, Europe, USA and Asia. The customer count stands at 1,500 and with some opportunities in the pipeline this is set to grow further.

“The market conditions have been tough this year especially in the UK,” said Saaher Muzafer, MD. “What we are seeing is that Brexit is having an effect i.e. customers want to spend on Cloud Backup but they need to budget accordingly which in turn depends on the final Brexit outcome. Nevertheless it’s been a strong start to the year with many new customers being onboarded and we are confident it will continue throughout.“

The crux of the business is down to simple principles:
1) Educating customers on cloud backup and not trying to sell it
2) Setting expectations on what each solution can do so any prospect has a clear choice
3) No hidden costs and upfront pricing

Saaher adds: “Transparency is key in trying to discuss with customers what we can do for them, it is ok to say we can’t do it if there is niche requirement which happens in rare cases. We also don’t talk negatively about any other cloud backup provider, in fact we do even recommended others if there is something specific the customer wants for example a cloud storage service for consumers. Our aim is to throw out the decade long and traditional sales process in trying to win customers and do things in a more consultative way.“
