HyperGrid Bookings and Customers Doubling in 4Q17 Compared to 4Q16

In 2017 contract ARR (annual recurring revenue) also grew 20X.
In addition to increasing bookings, new software capabilities and multiple awards and accolades, the firm also recently appointed a new VP sales to guide continued growth in the Americas.
“We continue to see significant adoption of our platform in the enterprise and the MSP markets. We have more than doubled our customer acquisitions. The average sale price has also more than doubled. We also reached additional milestones such as our first Fortune 50 customer, first Federal customer, and, on the back of our European growth, our first FTSE 250 customer,” said Nariman Teymourian, CEO, HyperGrid. “Also encompassed within this growth is our expansion into several important new vertical markets, including technology, telecoms, finance, education, manufacturing, healthcare, retail and education, along with the addition of new MSP accounts.”
In December 2017, HyperGrid appointed Dean Beaver as VP sales for the Americas. He brings to this position some 28 years sales management experience in the network technology field, along with the ability to deliver sales growth and to grow talent with his hands-on mentorship-based leadership style. His most recent position prior to joining HyperGrid was VP of sales at ScienceLogic, the next generation IT platform for managing the network of everything, where he grew sales to take a leading market share position He holds a joint BS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University.
The past year saw HyperGrid win a number of industry awards and accolades, including an SVC award for Cloud Management Product of the Year. The company’s HyperCloud Portal, part of its ‘pay-as-you-use’ multi-cloud management platform, was also named a finalist in the Agility and Automation category in SearchServerVirtualization.com’s Best of VMworld 2017 Awards. Further recognition came from channel publication, CRN, which highlighted the company as one of the Cloud start-ups You Need to Know in its Emerging Vendors 2017 spotlight, a position it cemented in July when it named the company among The 10 Coolest Start-Ups of 2017.
These accolades were preceded by the company’s mid 2017 launch of another significant product development; public cloud experience across any cloud or infrastructure in the form of a new release of HyperCloud, and a pay-as-you-use pricing model.
