Partnership Between Unitrends and Nutanix

Unitrends, Inc., in enterprise backup and continuity solutions, announced an update to its Recovery Series backup appliances and Unitrends Backup virtual appliances with hypervisor integration for Nutanix Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV).

This key integration between technology partners will enable enterprise customers to reduce infrastructure costs with Nutanix’s free Acropolis hypervisor, while maintaining critical continuity and data availability requirements from integrated backup and DR services.

This later provides a set of continuity services that fill key gaps enterprises face with hyperscale clouds like AWS, such as recovery SLAs, failover scalability, and cost-effective compliance for DR testing and long-term retention.
