It delivers the following features:
- 5U, 19-inch rack mount enclosure with slide rail and cable management assembly
- Support for up to 92 3.5-inch large-form factor (LFF) 12Gb SAS top-loading drives
- High-performance disk drives, high-capacity nearline disk drives, and flash drive support
- Redundant 200 – 240V AC power supplies (new PDU power cord required)
Key prerequisites
- FlashSystem V9000 supports attachment through FC or FCoE/iSCSI to the following servers:
- IBM System x servers
- IBM Power Systems servers
- IBM Flex System
- IBM BladeCenter
- IBM Power System blades
- IBM z Systems servers
- Intel and AMD processor-based servers
- FlashSystem V9000 requires FlashSystem V9000 Software version 7.8, or later, for operation. Use of the software is entitled through the acquisition of V9000 software licenses.
