Thanks to 8TB enterprise HDDs, it boasts a 33% capacity increase, making it a compact 40TB storage device. These enterprise HDDs provide accessibility, reliability and performance. Designed to operate 24×7-versus 8×5 operations for traditional HDDs- they can support 8,760 hours of operation per year for availability.

Storage for 4K era
Thanks to its Thunderbolt 2 technology, the 5big delivers sustained speeds of up to 1,050 MB/s^*. This is enough bandwidth to edit several video streams in native 4K resolution.
