Intellique StorIQ 32000SSD: NVMe Converged Storage Server Made in France

Intellique S.A.R.L. announced the availability of a hybrid converged virtual storage system, featuring ten NVMe 3200Go SSDs, 1.2Tb RAM capacity, powered by two Intel Xeon R processors designed to meet the needs of computational science, research, finance and big data.

The explosion of complex data-streams with large files (high finance, UHD cinema, 3D objects, virtual and augmented reality, big data) has led to a heightened demand for scalable, stackable, high-performance storage servers.

The StorIQ 32000SSD delivers a raw capacity of 32TB, transfer rates up to 9,5Gb/s and up to 3.8 million 8K IO/s. For larger workloads requiring augmented  capacity, and greater processing power and performance, Intellique is offering to stack StorIQ 32000SSD in scale-out, NAS mode, with a choice of completely cloud-ready file systems: DDN WOS, RozoFS, Ceph, OrangeFS, etc.

Comparing this server to a conventional system with 7,200rpm HDDs, we can attain 20 times better performance and provide for up to 1200 times more client access (VOD applications, social media, database, etc.). Pricing starts from €99,000 for a raw capacity of 16TB, including a 3-year hardware manufacturer warranty, software maintenance and support, hot-line.

Intellique servers are in use to store a large quota of French-produced films which are preserved, calibrated or restored on a 4K Intellique cloud with a capacity of more than 3.5PB.
