The abstract of the patent published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office states: ”A storage system which includes a cache memory needless of replacement of a power storage device, a cache memory with low power consumption, or a cache memory having no limitation on the number of writing operations is provided. An array controller for storing data externally input in any of a plurality of storage devices or a storage system including the array controller includes a processor which specifies at least one of the plurality of storage devices where the data is to be stored and a cache memory which stores the data and outputs the data to the at least one of the plurality of storage devices. The cache memory includes a storage circuit in which a transistor including an oxide semiconductor layer is used.
