Maxta Expands MaxDeploy Program
New appliances based on Dell and Lenovo servers
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on September 9, 2015 at 2:52 pmMaxta, Inc., provider of hyper-converged solutions, announced an expansion of its MaxDeploy Program, which enables easy ordering and deployment of hyper-converged solutions that run on servers powered by Intel processors.
The expansion includes new MaxDeploy appliances based on Dell and Lenovo server platforms.
The MaxDeploy Program provides a simple and flexible way to deliver hyper-converged solutions on customers’ choice of server vendors, including Cisco Systems, Inc., Dell, Inc., HP, Lenovo Enterprise Solutions, Pte Ltd, Quanta QCT and Super Micro Computer, Inc..
MaxDeploy removes the complexity and uncertainty associated with acquiring and deploying software-defined technologies to assimilate hyper-converged solutions by providing pre-defined and pre-configured appliances that are pre-loaded with software and ordered and deployed as a complete system. These appliances are delivered to customers by Maxta partners leveraging partners’ resource-rich portals for configuring, quoting and ordering.
“In response to the explosive growth in the hyper-converged market place, Dell OEM Solutions is pleased to support Maxta and their partners to help accelerate and simplify time to deployment. Leveraging the power of Dell OEM, the MaxDeploy Program can deliver pre-configured, hyper-converged solutions on Dell PowerEdge servers to customers worldwide,” said Ron Pugh, executive director and GM, Dell OEM solutions.
Intel PCIe attached SSDs are configured as part of these Dell and Lenovo MaxDeploy appliances, providing performance, leveraging NVMe interface and MxSP’s improved flash utilization. By using MaxDeploy with the Intel Xeon processor E5-2600 v3 family and Intel SSD Data Center Family, enterprises have the flexibility to scale their environment on demand without over-provisioning resources.
“MaxDeploy is an important element of Maxta’s go-to market strategy, simplifying the ordering and deployment of our hyper-converged solutions. The expansion of MaxDeploy, as well as the availability of MxSP software for all server platforms, enables us to provide the broadest coverage of hyper-convergence in the market and the highest levels of flexibility and choice,” said Yoram Novick, CEO and founder, Maxta. “Our team is dedicated to continue to develop programs that empower our customers to embrace every benefit of hyper-convergence.“
“Enterprise storage is experiencing a period of great transformation with the adoption of new storage orchestration software and non-volatile memory technologies,” said Bev Crair, VP, DCG storage group, Intel Corporation. “Solutions like Maxta Software Platform help accelerate adoption of new technologies such as Intel Xeon processors and Intel SSD Data Center Family for NVM Express in the data center and enable the flexibility to choose from the most up-to-date server products.“
Maxta continues to deliver on its promise of maximizing the value of hyper-convergence by further simplifying its adoption in the virtualized data center while increasing choice and mitigating hardware vendor lock-in. Additions of new server platforms, as well as expanding support from distribution partners such as Synnex Corporation, CCI Distribution Ltd. and Westcon Group, Inc., allow to enhance MaxDeploy Program.
