Aszmann, Prior Lake, MN, Michael J. Klemm, Minnetonka, MN, and Michael H. Pittelko, Chaska, MN, for a “solid state drive storage system and method.”
The abstract of the patent published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office states: “The present disclosure relates to a storage system and method that includes at least two solid state devices that can be classified in at least two different efficiency levels, wherein data progression is used to allocate data to the most cost-appropriate device according to the nature of the data.”
The patent application was filed on June 17, 2013 (13/919,353).
