Toshiba’s Digital Products Division (DPD), a division of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., announced its Q Series Pro PC Internal Solid State Drive.

This drive upgrade for PCs provides consumers with a reliable and convenient way to increase productivity and offers safe storage for all personal data. For consumers who need to boost their PC storage performance to the next level, Q Series Pro PC Internal Solid State drive is an storage solution that offers faster boot-up and operation for the PC.

With worldwide SSD shipments predicted to rise to 239 million units in 2016, amounting to approximately 40% of the size of the HDD market, according to IHS iSuppli, Toshiba plans to continue bringing SSD offerings to market.

For avid gamers, graphics professionals, and multi-taskers who need to boost PC performance to a best in class level, Q Series Pro PC Internal Solid State drive is a storage solution that offers faster boot-up and operation for the PC. Toshiba SSD consumes less power than a standard HDD. Users will discover they have more time to work and play on their laptop and will have to spend less time worrying about finding the next power outlet.

With a 7mm slim and lightweight design, the Q Series Pro Solid State Drive works well with ultrabooks. A mounting spacer is included to work in laptops with traditional full-height 9.5mm drive bays. It also comes with free, downloadale migration software to help transfer data from existing drive to the SSD.

Backed by a 3-year limited warranty, Q Series Pro Solid State Drive is built in accordance with Toshiba’s quality standard offering high performance drive upgrade for PC and is available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB capacities.

The 128GB model will be $159.99 MSRP, the 256GB model will be $309.99 MSRP, and the 512GB model will be $739.99 MSRP.
