Ishii Sangyo becomes the exclusive distributor of MicroSense Vibrating Sample Magnetometers (VSM) and Magneto Optical Kerr Effect (MOKE) measurement systems, providing applications engineering, sales and service for Japanese customers.
MicroSense has a large installed base in Japan, and has been selling VSM magnetic measurement systems and MOKE magnetic measurement systems in Japan since the mid 1980’s. VSM is primarily used in R&D of magnetic material characterization applications by Japanese research institutes. MOKE magnetic measurement systems are primarily used to improve magnetic thin film deposition yield in a production quality control environment, by Japanese OEM customers, in the HDD drive and semiconductor MRAM equipment manufacturing industries.
"We are pleased to announce our new partnership with Ishii Sangyo, for exclusive distribution of our VSM and Kerr magnetic characterization and measurement systems in Japan," said Tom McNabb, president and COO, MicroSense. "Established in 1981, Ishii Sangyo has a proven track record as a Japanese manufacturing and trading company. They have recently created a new business development division and hired key sales and service personnel from MicroSense’s previous Japan distributor. This will make the transition nearly seamless for our valued Japan customers."
