Andreas Koller EMEA VP Sales, Exar

Exar Corporation announced the appointment of Andreas Koller as VP sales for EMEA.

He will be based near Munich, Germany and report to Steve Bakos, SVP sales and marketing.

He will be responsible for sales in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, as well as management of Exar’s local staff, a network of sales representatives and authorized distributors.

Bakos said: "We are very fortunate to have Andreas join Exar to drive sales in EMEA. He has an excellent background for the products, markets and customers we focus on, and more importantly I believe he has the right management style and business philosophy. Furthermore, our decision to move this position to Germany is consistent with our focus on the industrial market segment in EMEA. This move, combined with our recent acquisition of Cadeka Microcircuits that brought us high performance precision and high speed amplifiers, as well as low power data converters, greatly enhances our opportunity in that segment."

 Koller brings over 15 years of international sales experience to the position having previously held VP sales positions with leading semiconductor companies, such as Texas Instruments and Energy Micro.
