DNS Made Easy Backup Email Service Usage Grew in 3Q13

email services
during 3Q13.

The company states that recent outages
by primary hosting companies and email service providers as the
primary reason for the increase in usage in their secondary email
services.

There are several reasons why the firm believes they have over 10,000 clients who use the company’s backup email services.

The service protects customers’ emails
in case their mail server goes down for a short time frame and it is
good for long-term outages. In fact it can hold queued emails up to
two weeks and it will – by default – hold up to a gig of email and
queue it at any point in time.

The service is easy to set up. There
are just two steps. First, clients add the domain name to the control
panel. Then they add MX records to their domain.

The service protects users against some
types of email SPAM. It checks the senders against their RBL (Real
Time Black List). The company queries those RBLs to determine if the
message is in fact SPAM. It protects the backup mail service in order
to avoid SPAM going to their customers.
