600 Deployments of Hyperconverged Platform by Scale Computing

Scale Computing, Inc. has seen record customer and industry traction for its product HC3 in building virtualized and private cloud environments.

HC3 integrates servers, storage and virtualization into a single platform that delivers the benefits of a private cloud.

Launched less than a year ago, HC3 has taken more than 600 HC3 clusters deployed at mid-sized organizations. New customers include Cyan, Inc. of Petaluma, CA, and Lafontaine Automotive of Highland, MI, the largest Cadillac dealership in North America.

Scale Computing has also seen growth in verticals such as financial services and government.

In addition to reaching records of sales, revenue and new customer growth, Scale Computing has also seen the following recent achievements:

• Launched HC3x: an extension of the HC3 platform, extends the memory and compute capability allowing for double the VMs per node over the standard HC3 line, and is built for customers looking to realize the benefits of private cloud.
• Added seasoned veteran Vic Mahadevan as an executive advisor: he was recently the CSO at NetApp, where he led NetApp’s business strategy in identifying disruptive product opportunities.
