Avnet and EMC Expand Relationship

Avnet Technology Solutions expanded its distribution
agreement with EMC Corporation in Latin America.

Avnet will now support EMC in Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and the Caribbean, in
addition to its existing Latin American relationships with EMC in Brazil and
Mexico. Avnet will provide its ISV, SI and VAR partners with EMC technology, including products for
converged infrastructure and data solutions related to big data, cloud
computing, the data center, security, and storage.

in May at EMC World, plus Avnet was recently named the Best Distributor of the
Year and Best VSPEX Distributor for EMC in EMEA. We will now leverage these
best practices to grow EMC’s channel business in Latin America and the
Caribbean, and accelerate our partners’ abilities to solve their customers’
business challenges with access to the entire EMC portfolio including complete
converged infrastructure solutions."

Avnet’s regional EMC partners will have access to a range of resources,
services and tools. In particular,
partners can leverage Avnet’s assembly and integration services to offer
pre-configured, tested solutions based on EMC technology, which
can be delivered to customers’ sites with certified shipping. Additionally,
Avnet will support its channel community with demand generation; pre-sales and
technical expertise; training and development; and financial and logistics
services. Partners can also rely on Avnet as a single source for a complementary technology, which they can use to design and develop complete
solutions for their customers.

healthcare, industrial, media, mining, security and telecommunications.

Avnet is one of largest EMC distributors, and the two companies
have a history of collaborating together for 13 years to grow the EMC channel.
In addition to Latin America and the Caribbean, Avnet distributes EMC in EMEA,
and North America.
