Enova and Initio Corporation, Initio Corporation California, Buffalo Inc., and Buffalo Technology have agreed to a mutual dismissal of the pending patent litigation under the terms of a confidential patent license and settlement agreement.
On January 5, 2010, Enova initiated an action for patent infringement against Western Digital Corporation, Initio Corporation, Initio Corporation California, Buffalo Inc. and Buffalo Technology in the United States District Court, District of Delaware, in which Enova Technology asserted that Western Digital and others were infringing U.S. patent numbers 7,136,995, 7,386,734, and 7,900,057, patents related to hardware encryption technology.
