Unified Solution Recovery Management Suite by PHD Virtual

PHD Virtual Technologies, Inc. announces Recovery Management Suite (RMS), an unified data protection and recovery assurance solution to reduce the cost of data, application, business service and site-wide recovery within SLAs.

RMS combines capabilities, including:

A recent report from DCIG senior analyst Ken Clipperton highlighted the wide scope of the problem and its implications for business stating, "Most of the IT manager respondents to a recent survey are not confident that they could restore their systems quickly and completely in the event of an outage with 68% indicating their data was vulnerable in the event of a disaster and their data restore problems put SLAs with customers at risk. Beyond the basic ability to recover data, the speed with which applications and services can be recovered has significant bottom-line impact."

DCIG reported that businesses lose an average of about $5,000 per minute in an outage and when it comes to service recovery, speed matters.
