PNY Introducing HP p2050 and p2100 Portable HDDs

PNY Technologies, Inc., manufacturer and supplier of upgrade, graphics and storage solutions, and an HP storage licensee, launches the HP Portable HDDs, p2050 and p2100 Series.

These drives are a blend of style, speed and strength for a balanced storage accessory.

Style
The HP Portable HDDs are available in four colours of brushed aluminum: silver, red, blue and black. Not only do the aluminum cases offer excellent durability, but the colours complement any office or home dcor. The p2050 and p2100 Series drives are fashioned to look like a book, so standing upright they fit right into bookcases or onto bookshelves.

Speed
The HP p2050 and p2100 are USB 3.0 compatible. This means that files are saved and transferred up to four times quicker than with USB 2.0. As an example of their speeds, a two-hour HD film can be transferred in three minutes, dependant on users’ hardware. They also work on USB 2.0 ports.

Security
The HP SimpleSave backup software is easy to use, and doesn’t require any complicated installations. Just run SimpleSave and after the first backup, the software frequently checks for file changes so your backup is always up to date. This offers peace-of-mind when it comes to safeguarding data.
