Adhering to eMMC specification version 4.5, Fortasa’s eMMC architecture consists of the industry standard MMC-interface based flash controller and NAND flash memory, all packaged in the industry smallest 153-ball, 13mm x 11.5mm x 1.0mm TFBGA package. By integrating the flash controller and memory into a small form factor package, eMMC enables the development of new smaller, lighter and more energy efficient products.
For applications requiring performance storage with low power consumption and a small footprint, Fortasa’s eMMC offering is available in 4GB and 8GB capacities and is a managed NAND replacement of standalone NAND flash memory components.
