New versions of NovaBACKUP DataCenter, xSP and Remote Workforce

At SNW 2012, NovaStor Software AG will present new versions of NovaBACKUP DataCenter, NovaBACKUP xSP and NovaBACKUP Remote Workforce.

NovaStor’s products equip service providers and other businesses with a range of technology solutions to employ cloud strategies that increase data availability while reducing work load and cost. New features include central management optimized for efficient administration with the inclusion of new features for the remote management of distributed customers, employees and offices.

Management of Large-Scale Data Backup
NovaStor protects on both sides of the cloud.xSP and Remote Workforce enable the provision of backup as a service for distributed employees and customers. NovaBACKUP DataCenter protects the other side of the service: the backend data center, which may cover one or more locations.

NovaStor dedicates the new versions of its cloud and data center products to meeting the challenge of managing end user backups on one hand, and data center protection on the other. At SNW 2012 NovaStor offers a preview of the new user interface and central management for NovaBACKUP DataCenter v5.0, introducing simplified administration, while providing rich backup and restore features.

NovaStor’s private and public cloud backup platforms xSP and Remote Workforce offer another dimension in remote data management. From a central web interface service providers can not only schedule and monitor backups, but also conduct on-demand restores and manage Image DR for their customers. These new features open up new possibilities for managed backup services. Other new features include Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8 support.
