SanDisk Expects Lower Revenues for 1FQ2012

SanDisk Corporation provided preliminary revenue results for its first fiscal quarter 2012 ended April 1, 2012.

Due to weaker than expected pricing and demand, the company estimates total revenue to be approximately $1.2 billion, down from the previously forecasted revenue range of $1.30 to $1.35 billion.

Total gross margin is also expected to be below the previously guided range of 39% to 42%.
