Partnership Between Asigra and Parallels

Asigra Inc. announced that, through its new partnership with Parallels Holdings Ltd., the hosting and cloud services enablement service providers and their customers will gain access to APS-certified cloud backup services powered by Asigra software.

The combination of Parallels Automation and Asigra’s cloud storage solution offers service providers a portfolio of storage services. According to IDC, the volume of data worldwide is expected to increase 50 times by 2020. However, many organizations are already experiencing a high level of data growth. Businesses must identify better approaches to data management, retention, storage, sharing, access and security in order to deal with this growth. This need presents service providers with an expanding business opportunity to increase their total addressable market by offering an automated, secure backup service in the cloud.
