DataCore Teams With immixGroup

To target federal government and public sector

DataCore Software Corp. has teamed with immixGroup, provider of government channel programs for technology companies, to structure targeted channel sales programs into the federal government as well as to the Public Sector. immixGroup  will also manage DataCore’s GSA schedule (number GS-35F-0511T).
 
Under this new relationship, immixGroup will work in conjunction with reseller partners and solution providers on behalf of DataCore to drive new government sector sales opportunities and help them become familiar with rules of engagement. From the government’s perspective, the new partnership and its programs will make it easier for federal datacenters to benefit from the cost savings and productivity that comes from virtualizing their existing and new storage infrastructures in support of their virtual servers and virtual desktop initiatives.
 
"The federal government and its agencies are under mandate to virtualize their IT operations for greater efficiency and cost savings, and they recognize that storage virtualization software is critical to realizing those financial and operational goals," said Dan Hascall, vice president of sales for the Americas at DataCore Software. "Through our new partnership with immixGroup, we are able to satisfy those urgent needs across our large base of government customers and public sector partners irrespective of the wide variety of storage hardware manufacturers in use."
 
Government Channel Programs to accelerate
adoption of Storage Virtualization
