IBM Virtual Desktop for Smart Business V2.2, with Virtual Enterprise Remote Desktop Environment (VERDE) from Virtual Bridges, Inc., allows access to a virtual PC desktop from anywhere, using a range of devices. The VERDE suite includes VERDE Core, VERDE Console, VERDE VDI, VERDE LEAF, and VERDE Cloud Branch.

Licenses for IBM Virtual Desktop for Smart Business V2, for System x, include one year of Software Subscription and Support. Software Subscription and Support renewals for all features are aligned through Passport Advantage Express or Passport Advantage, reducing the administrative burden of keeping your Subscription and Support up-to-date.

The VERDE and Linux software, included in this package, are delivered pursuant to the terms of the Virtual Bridges and Novell Licenses. Licenses for IBM Virtual Desktop for Smart Business V2, for System x, do not include licenses for the use of any other third-party software. Licensee is responsible for obtaining any such third-party licenses.

Eligible software products, offered and selected during the ordering process with each hardware system, are enabled for electronic download for the system unit for which the product was ordered. Optionally, software and license-only orders can be created for these products based on existing supported hardware system units in your business environment.
