Taiji Watanabe CEO of Buffalo Technology, USA

Buffalo Technology announced Mr. Taiji Watanabe as the new Chief Executive Officer of Buffalo Technology, USA. Mr. Watanabe will succeed Mr. Takayuki Nishioka who has served as CEO of Buffalo Technology, USA for the last two years.

"Mr. Watanabe has a solid foundation through his long years of managing different divisions at the Japan headquarters and is well suited to establish Buffalo as a premiere brand in the United States," stated Mr. Nishioka. "We are thankful to have him lead the US team and continue to expand our business in the US market."

Mr. Watanabe brings over 20 years of experience in building Buffalo as a brand in Japan. He has collected extensive experience in many different divisions of Buffalo Japan and has been closely involved with Japan’s overseas business. Prior to joining Buffalo Technology, USA,  Mr. Watanabe served in multiple positions throughout his long tenure with the company including GM of Business Development Division, and the Production Division, as well as CEO of Buffalo Logistics Inc. Japan and Buffalo Technology, USA.

As the CEO of Buffalo Technology, USA Mr. Watanabe will be responsible for shaping Buffalo’s market strategy for the US market, while considering the competitive landscape and predicting market trends as well as working closely with Buffalo’s headquarters in Japan. Mr. Watanabe will also be responsible for expanding Buffalo’s SMB storage and consumer storage and networking product lines.
