Sam Gutmann Joined Datafy as CEO

Following 10 years at OwnBackup

Datafy, a next generation of cloud storage and performance management, just recruited Sam Gutmann as CEO. Before, Gutmann was CEO of OwnBackup for more than 10 years. The company was renamed Own Company in 2023 and was acquired by Salesforce in 2024 for $1.9B in cash. He also collaborated with Golden Seeds and BassTech International. Previously, he cofounded in 2003 and led Intronis for 7 years.
