FMS 2026: SNIA Congratulates Vice Chair Richelle Ahlvers on Winning 2026 SuperWomen of FMS Leadership Award

SNIA congratulates Richelle Ahlvers, vice chair of the SNIA board of directors, on winning the 2026 SuperWomen of FMS Leadership Award, presented at the Future of Memory and Storage (FMS) conference.

The annual award recognizes women who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in the growth, development, and adoption of flash memory and storage technologies.

Ahlvers serves as director of technology Initiatives and ecosystem enabling for Intel’s datacenter and AI business. She has been a driving force behind the SNIA Swordfish Scalable Storage Management API for the past decade, serving as its lead author and helping establish it as the industry’s leading open standard for interoperable storage management. She has also made significant technical contributions to the DMTF Redfish, SPDM (Security Protocol and Data Model), and PMCI (Platform Management Communications Infrastructure) specifications, advancing secure and standards-based infrastructure management across the industry.

Within SNIA, Ahlvers serves as vice chair of the board of directors, chair of the storage management community, and chair of the swordfish technical work group. She has been a longtime leader in advancing open standards and industry collaboration.
