Resonac Establishes Unique Model for Standardizing and Scaling Frontline-Developed AI Agents Across the Company
Achieves 95% generative AI adoption and productivity gains equivalent to $2.9 million per month within six months of deployment

Within approximately six months of introducing generative AI in October 2025, the adoption rate reached 95%, with utilization becoming firmly established across a wide range of functions, including manufacturing, R&D, and corporate departments. As a result, Resonac has achieved productivity gains equivalent to approximately 90,000 working hours per month, representing roughly $ 2.9 million in labor value (calculated based on a survey of 2,405 employees and actual operational results).
A key feature of this initiative is that it goes beyond simply promoting the use of generative AI and instead drives company-wide business transformation through AI agents. In corporate functions, AI agents have been deployed across a broad range of activities, including meeting scheduling, document and presentation preparation, communication support, learning, and data analysis, helping employees streamline daily operations and enhance decision-making.
In addition, employees at individual sites and departments are actively developing AI agents to address their own operational challenges. Among those created in the field, AI agents that demonstrate high effectiveness and broad applicability are further refined, standardized, and deployed across the Company by headquarters functions. Through the continuous cycle of (1) providing generative AI capabilities from headquarters, (2) creating AI agents in the field, and (3) standardizing and scaling successful solutions across the company, Resonac has established a unique generative AI utilization model that combines a traditional top-down approach with a bottom-up approach rooted in frontline operations.
As an example, Resonac is leveraging generative AI to redesign end-to-end business processes in areas that have traditionally relied heavily on individual expertise, such as safety activities and knowledge transfer. In hazard prediction activities, generative AI automatically evaluates workplace safety conditions and provides improvement feedback, reducing processing time to approximately one-sixtieth of that required previously. In the field of chemical regulatory compliance, generative AI automates the creation, administration, and analysis of training materials and assessments, enabling educational content to be prepared in approximately one-fifth of the conventional time. AI agents are also being utilized in a variety of other areas, including equipment installation, inventory management, and R&D support. These initiatives are helping reduce operational workloads, enhance employee development, and improve overall business efficiency.
As a result of these efforts, Resonac is achieving not only operational efficiency improvements but also structural transformation of business processes themselves. Going forward, the Company will continue to scale knowledge and AI agents developed through frontline generative AI initiatives across the organization. At the same time, Resonac will further accelerate the transformation of business processes by promoting AI-driven operational reform on a company-wide basis.
