Apple Swallowed SigLens from SigScalr

Wishing to improve its applications monitoring

Apple has acquired select assets from SigScalr, the developer behind the application monitoring platform SigLens, according to a European Union filing.The transaction, reported to the EU on 12 March 2026, also includes an option for Apple to hire certain SigScalr employees. As usual with Apple, the web site of the prey has been studown.

SigScalr developed SigLens, an open-source observability platform that enables organizations to monitor and analyze logs and application activity across distributed systems. The company claimed the platform delivered up to 100% greater efficiency than competing offerings from Datadog and Splunk.

Founded in May 2021 by Kunal Nawale, SigScalr was headquartered in Nashua, New Hampshire, with additional offices in California, Montana, and India. According to its LinkedIn profile, the startup employed between two and ten people.

In 2024, SigScalr raised $1.76 million in pre-seed funding and later open-sourced SigLens in February of that year.
