IBM intends to expand its strategic partnership with Cirata to offer Cirata Symphony for IBM Big Replicate, a data orchestration platform engineered to help eliminate data silos and accelerate enterprise AI initiatives.
This introduces the next generation of IBM Big Replicate, providing a unified control plane for petabyte-scale data movement, operation, and management.
Cirata Symphony for IBM Big Replicate is designed to:
- Provide continuous data movement at petabyte scale with near- zero downtime
- Expand native support for open table formats such as Apache Iceberg, enabling real-time transformation of legacy data into AI-optimized formats
- De-risk compliance and governance with real-time data lineage and immutable audit trails, helping to ensure mission-critical data remains compliant and observable throughout its lifecycle
- Integrate with and orchestrate a wide variety of data-centric systems, including scale out storage technologies, observability platforms, real-time data streaming technologies, AI agents and language models, and modern data and AI platforms such as watsonx.data and watsonx.ai
