Innovation Made in Europe: PoINT Archival Gateway Receives StorageNewsletter Award and Newly Introduced Quality Seal

The editorial team of the renowned StorageNewsletter presented the StorageNewsletter Awards in their inaugural year. A seven-person jury selected winners from over 100 submissions across eleven categories.The winner in the “Archiving Software” category is PoINT Archival Gateway. This tape-based object storage stores data directly on tape via the standardized S3 interface, without the need for buffer storage. This scalable, high-performance, cost-efficient solution is ideal for data-intensive use cases.

(BITMi): The “Software Made in Europe” label is awarded to software products primarily developed and tested in Europe by companies headquartered in Europe. Given the growing importance of digital and data sovereignty, the seal provides customers with valuable guidance.
