Leaseweb Appoints Bert Stam as Managing Director Netherlands to Drive Continued Growth

Leaseweb, a cloud services and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provider, has announced the appointment of Bert Stam as Managing Director Netherlands. In his new role, Stam will lead the company’s Dutch operations, building on its strong market momentum and track record of domestic and international growth.Stam brings more than 30 years of leadership and sales management experience within international technology organisations. He joins Leaseweb from SoftwareONE, where he most recently served as GM for its Netherlands business. Prior to that, he held senior roles at Rackspace, including GM for Northern Europe, as well as positions at HP.

 

As Leaseweb Netherlands MD, Stam will focus on further strengthening the company’s leading position in the Dutch market while supporting its wider global expansion. His appointment comes at a time of increasing demand for sovereign-by-design hybrid cloud solutions, as organisations reassess how they build and operate critical digital infrastructure. 

Throughout his career, Stam has focused on managing the full customer lifecycle from contracts to service delivery, with particular experience in hybrid cloud infrastructures, managed services and consultancy-led engagements. He is known for building high-performing teams and translating strategic objectives into operational execution, while maintaining a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and long-term growth.
