QNAP Unveils Virtualization Station 4 Virtual Machine High Availability Beta

The company now invite users to participate in the Beta Test Program to experience VM high availability architecture with minimal downtime. Participants who submit feedback will have a chance to win a TR-004 JBOD!

Virtualization Station now includes the new HA feature, combining QuTS hero‘s ZFS architecture with SnapSync real-time synchronization technology to provide automatic protection and seamless switchover between 2 NAS devices. It also supports multiple fault detection conditions and bidirectional protection, ensuring quick switchover to a backup NAS in the event of a failure, allowing uninterrupted business operation.

Note: The Virtual Machine HA Beta feature in Virtualization Station 4.1 is supported only on NAS models with QuTS hero 5.3.0 or above. QTS is not supported.
