OCP Global Summit 2025 and GITEX Global 2025: Edgecore Networks to Showcase Next-Gen AI Infrastructure
Including Tomahawk 6-based data center switches, Co-Packaged Optics (CPO) proof-of-concept, Nexvec, Turnkey AI open networking and compute infrastructure, and Nous infrastructure controller compute extensions
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on October 9, 2025 at 2:00 pmEdgecore Networks Corp. announced it will be demonstrating its latest portfolio of open infrastructure solutions at the OCP Global Summit in San Jose, CA, and at the GITEX Global conference in Dubai, both shows being held during the week of October 13th.
The company’s showcase will feature the latest networking and compute solutions designed to meet the extreme demands of scalable AI, enterprise computing, MSPs and cloud data centers.
“As the industry accelerates toward AI-driven workloads, the need to simplify the deployment has never been more critical,” said Mingshou Liu, president, Edgecore Networks. “We’re proud to continue our leadership in the open infrastructure community by unveiling turnkey solutions that address these challenges head-on, from pre-integrated, ready-to-deploy AI infrastructure to groundbreaking innovations in optical and thermal technologies.”
Key Solutions and Demonstrations
The firm’s booths will feature four key demonstrations highlighting the company’s commitment to open, disaggregated infrastructure.
High-Performance Tomahawk 6-based Data Center Switches
Edgecore will showcase a new family of high-performance data center switches powered by Broadcom Inc.‘s latest Tomahawk 6 chipset, capable of over 100Tb/s bandwidth. These switches are engineered for AI with support for Cognitive Routing, a new two-tier scale up and scale-out architecture, along with the massive bandwidth and low-latency requirements of large-scale AI clusters and hyperscale data centers. Their leadership high-density design provides a path for customers to scale their networks while optimizing power consumption and rack space.
Co-Packaged Optics (CPO) Proof-of-Concept
In a forward-looking demonstration, the company will present early proof-of-concept for Co-Packaged Optics (CPO). This cutting-edge technology integrates optical transceivers directly with the switch silicon in a single package. The CPO demo will highlight its potential for significantly reducing power consumption and increasing port density, which are critical for the next-gen of high-density, high-speed switching architectures.
Nexvec: Turnkey AI Open Networking and Compute Infrastructure
Edgecore will highlight its enhanced Nexvec solution, a pre-validated, turnkey AI infrastructure designed for rapid deployment. This solution combines open networking switches with GPU-based compute infrastructure, providing a high-performance, ready-to-use platform for AI and ML workloads. Visitors will see how the Nexvec solution streamlines the deployment of complex AI environments, saving time and resources.
Nous: Infrastructure Controller Compute Extensions
A key component of the Nexvec solution is the Nous infrastructure controller. At the summit, Edgecore will demonstrate the latest updates to Nous, including its new ability to manage composable compute components. This feature allows for the dynamic provisioning and de-provisioning of resources like GPUs and memory pools, enabling greater resource utilization and operational efficiency throughout the entire lifecycle of the data center, from initial setup (Day-0) to ongoing operations (Day-2).
Edgecore Networks wil be during the week of October 13th at the OCP Global Summit 2025 in San Jose, booth Number A5, and at GITEX GLOBAL in Dubai, UAE, booth number: H21-02.
