IBC 2025: Toshiba to Showcase High-Capacity Media Storage Solutions at IBC 2025
Live demo highlights 1.4PB storage for media applications and innovative direct attached USB-based 100TB RAID desktop unit

This year, Toshiba (Hall 2, Stand C15) will present live demos of its high-capacity, high-reliability HDDs designed for digital media storage.

The centerpiece of the showcase will be a 1.4PB storage system built with 60 units of Toshiba’s 24TB HDDs. This ZFS-based storage cluster is tailored for streaming, post-processing, and editing applications. The system is powered by Toshiba’s trusted partners:
- OPEN-E: Jovian DSS software
- ATTO: Host-bus adapters and network interface cards
- Promise Technology: 60-bay, high-density top-loader JBOD chassis
Additionally, Toshiba will feature a live performance demo of a direct-attached USB-based RAID desktop unit from ICY BOX, showcasing “The easiest way to attach 100TB of storage to your computer,” using 24TB SATA HDDs.
