Quantum Expands Board of Directors with Appointment of Two New Directors

Blevins, to its Board of Directors. Their addition reflects the company’s continued commitment to further strengthening the board of directors and executive management team. With these appointments, the total number of directors will expand to seven members.

James C. Clancy has extensive expertise in global data protection and cyber recovery solutions, with a distinguished career at Dell Technologies and EMC Corporation. As president of global storage sales at Dell, he drove significant global sales growth worldwide. Previously, as SVP, global sales, Dell EMC’s data protection solutions, he enhanced sales and data efficiency across the organization. Mr. Clancy also served as SVP, Dell Technologies, where he provided strategic leadership to improve customer relationships, streamline operations, and drive profitable revenue growth. Earlier roles also include Divisional VP, Americas for EMC’s backup recovery systems division and specialty sales management at EMC Corporation (now Dell EMC, DPS).
Mr. Clancy holds a bachelor of business administration and general management degree from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. He currently serves as an advisory board member at Amplex, an IT services and consulting company, and Index Engines, a provider of data protection and cyber recovery solutions.
Tony J. Blevins’ professional accomplishments include over two decades of leadership experience at Apple, Inc., where he served as VP, procurement, overseeing a 1,000+ person global team that drove the development of iconic products, including the iPhone, iPad, iPod, and Apple Watch. Prior to Apple, he held key supply chain and engineering roles at IBM, culminating as program director, IBM’s Scotland laboratory. Recognized as a global leader, Mr. Blevins was named one of the “Global Leaders of Tomorrow” by the World Economic Forum in 2002 and received the prestigious “Captain of Industry” award from the International Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineering in 2022. Currently, Mr. Blevins serves as a board member at NextGen Cyber Talent, a nonprofit fostering diversity in cybersecurity education; Pivotal Commware, a leader in 5G holographic beamforming; Urbanic, an AI-driven platform for women’s fashion accessories; and ARES North America, a leading provider of environmentally responsible energy storage technologies for data center.
Mr. Blevins attended North Carolina State University’s (NCSU) engineering program, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He is also an NCSU Industrial and Systems Engineering Distinguished Alumnus and serves on its Advisory Board.
