Veeam Appoints Philippe Rousset as Country Manager

Veeam Software, Inc. announced the appointment of Philippe Rousset as country manager for France and French-speaking Africa.

Philippe will lead Veeam’s mission to empower organizations across the region with world-class data resilience solutions, a critical driver for the dynamic and rapidly evolving technology landscape in both France and French-speaking Africa.

Philippe brings more than 35 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, and enterprise solutions, having held leadership roles at major organizations such as Oracle, Microsoft, BMC, and Dell, before founding Lemon Partners. Throughout his career, Philippe has delivered strong business results, built performing teams, and driven transformation. Most recently, as VP, Sales EMEA South for Skillsoft, he managed a 100-member team, ranking Skillsoft as the #1 region worldwide in EMEA South.

Philippe holds an MBA from INSEAD Business School and a Master’s degree from ISC Paris. He completed a thesis in 2024 as part of his INSEAD scholarship, covering the topic ‘AI vs. Emotional Intelligence in Leadership.’
