Swiss Vault and JetStor Partner

Swiss Vault AG announced a partnership with JetStor to integrate Swiss Vault’s VaultFS distributed file system into JetStor’s portfolio, offering customers a new path to sustainable storage at scale.

VaultFS is available across JetStor’s modern storage platforms, providing a flexible, resilient foundation for S3-compatible object storage, POSIX-compliant file workloads, and active archive deployments. It delivers advanced data protection, low overhead, and a reduced environmental footprint, making it a powerful option for organizations navigating the demands of modern data growth.‍

This is just 20% overhead compared to 200% with legacy systems like ZFS, while offering faster performance, and self-managing error correction. In early benchmarks, the system has demonstrated:‍

• Up to 60% reduction in storage overhead
• Over 50% reduction in power consumption
• Significant reduction in e-waste by minimizing hardware footprint and enabling systems to operate longer.
